My Fair Princess & New My Fair Princess

I slept with a big smile plastered on my face. Last night, after watching Nasi Lemak 2.0 which I think its closing song is interesting, I spent the night by watching television. NTV 7 is airing "My Fair Princess" once again on 1 a.m. So I stuck in front of the screen. No, it was undecided. The show drove me. It hold my heart so that I can't think of another things except the love stories of Xiao Yan Zi, Yong Qi, Zi Wei and Er Kang.

 Actually this story is adapted from Qiong Yau's novel. The original title is Princess Pearl. The story was broadcast on 1998. Eh, I'm five then. I didn't remember when they had aired it in Malaysia but during primary school time if I am not mistaken. They had aired it again in evening when I was in secondary school. I was able to watch it, I think it must be aired during school holidays. Hmmm. :-?

This is one of the stories that I really lay may heart on it besides Hanazakarino Kimitachihe and Down With Love. Okay, the next two stories caught my attention because I like Ella. Then I will like the actors who acted with Ella such as Wu Chun and Jerry.However, I usually won't bother if they come with a new film or drama with another actress.

However, in this story, I began with loving the storyline before started to develop the feelings towards the actors. Through this story I discovered how beautiful Vicky Zhao is. I realised how charming Alec Su is. They made a perfect couple- in this story. How I wish they won't replace the casts in My Fair Princess 3... Yeah, they changed it. Not cool. The decision was not well-received by fans as well.

It starts with the tale of two sworn sisters: orphaned adventuress Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei, a talented young lady with an interesting history. Ziwei is actually the illegitimate daughter of Emperor Qianlong. Ziwei travels to Beijing and meets Xiao Yanzi. They become close friends.They begin the journey to enter the Forbidden City. Eh now they have a new series, "New My Fair Princess". Ehm, I'm quite interested to watch it although they'd replaced the original casts. Hopefully they will air it here on TV because I don't prefer to download or watch it online. They tried to make everything looks similar with the first series. Oh, it is not that bad. I think it's fine.  In a poll of Sina.com, more than 96% audience love old version, less than 4% think the remake is ok. Uiks, I may be the one who contributes to the 4%. Mho Hoho Ho.
